Tail of a Good Time is a family owned business based out of Columbus Ohio. We are passionate about all animals and have dedicated ourselves to making pets happier and healthier through exercise and in home care.
We believe that a pet is happier and healthier in his or her own home than in a boarding facility (though there are many wonderful facilities out there).
This is where we come in. We will come to your home to walk your dog, feed your cat or tend to any of your pets needs. We also offer simple house care for multiple day visits. This includes bringing in the mail, turning down the blinds, and watering the plants.
Tail of a Good Time also recognizes that there are many animals out there that are not as fortunate to have good homes. In order to help, we donate $1 of every transaction to the ASPCA (The American Society of Protection of Cruelty to Animals). From time to time we also have local events to raise additional funds for the ASPCA or local shelters in need. Please bookmark this page for future updates.

Dog Walking
An employee of Tail of a Good Time will come to your home feed, refill water bowl, and take your dog(s) for a walk for the remaining time of the 30 minute visit.
$16.00/half hour
$154.00/ 10 visit package
$290.00/ 20 visit package
$400.00/ 30 visit package
At Tail of a Good Time we take pride in providing the best service possible to our clients. Upon request, at no extra charge we will also
-- rotate blinds
-- bring in the mail/newspaper
-- water indoor and outdoor plants
-- take out trash on appropiate service day
These are all simple crime deterrents.
Pet Sitting
An employee of Tail of a Good Time will come to your home feed, refill water, have playtime, and or take dogs for walk. We are happy to take care of dogs, cats, fish, birds, reptiles, rodents, and many other pets.

Leash Walking
Meet and Greet
For the safety of our clients pets and for others we request that all dogs must be leashed on walks or in open areas that have no protective fencing. Here at Tale of a Good Time we choose not to use spike or prong collars, but would be more than happy to provide our business regulated collar for the visit.
Once contacted, an employee of Tail of a Good Time will come to your home to visit with you and your pet(s). This is a simple meet and greet. We want ot make sure that both you and your animal(s) are comfortable with us and vise versa. The usual meeting takes only between 20-40 minutes, and will be at no cost to the potential client. We do reserve the right to accept or deny any job.
Pet Indentification
We require that all dogs and outdoor cats are provided with the proper pet identifcation collars, or the owner must provide proof of implanted microchipping.
Key Exchange
Dog Walking/Pet Care- We will receive the house keys after completion of intial meeting, or at designated place and time afterwards. Return of keys will also be specified by clients preference of time and place. For the safety of the client, their pet, and home we prefer not leaving keys left outside unless put in a safe secure place.
Pet Immunizations
Dog requirments- Rabies, Caronavirus, Parvo Virus
Cat requirments (specificaly outdoor cats)- Rabies, panleukopenia
Ready Key Services
Returned Checks
Once a client becomes comfortable with our services, and would like us to hold a key at our office for their convenience, there will be a one time fee of $5.00. Their key will be placed in a safe lock box and coded.
There will be a $25.00 fee for returned checks.
